Sign On Screen is a new communication service available for Deaf People whose preferred language is British Sign Language (BSL). Sign on Screen offers users the opportunity to use an on-line video interpreting service as a means of communicating more easily in BSL with a wide range of hearing people who are using an ordinary phone.
Sign on Screen will also enable Deaf People to communicate in sign language with hearing people at short face to face meetings, for example with the doctor or to book a holiday or to buy a car.
Within a few weeks, those interested can buy the software (with or without a new hardware device, a netbook or a videophone perhaps) from our new UK distibuter - contact us - to arrange to be one of the first to be offerred this service. The online interpreting service is available 8am until 8pm 7 days a week.
