On Saturday, 1st November 2008, Deaf Connections held a Jumble Sale to help raise funds for a new boiler for heating and hot water which is essential for this big building in Norfolk Street and which is used by profoundly deaf and hard of hearing people in the West of Scotland.

The Tapestry Class made a beautiful picture to be placed above the Memorial Plaque which now displays the names of all these people who have left legacies to Deaf Connections since the year 2000.  We have, of course, benefited from many legacies before then but these are too many to mention.

The new plaque can be viewed from the entrance hall just above the stairs leading to the upperfloors.  Councillor Miller from Glasgow City Council officially opened the sale and unveiled the plaque.

To these friends who did help us either by selling or buying, our sincere thanks.
