Set Sail on the Adventure of a Lifetime!

4 - 10th May 2009
Largs to Oban

OYT Scotland has eight places for young Deaf people (16 – 24) for a voyage from Largs to Oban from Monday 4th May to Sunday 10th May. This voyage is funded by KPMG finance as part of Deaf Awareness week.

Sailing aboard Alba Venturer, OYT Scotland’s purpose built sail training vessel, you will be part of the crew, hoisting sails, taking the wheel and navigating, as well as living together on board, helping to cook meals and keep the boat clean.

This voyage follows on from two successful voyages involving young Deaf people – Sept 07(two Deaf) and May 08 (8 Deaf).

It is a good way to meet new friends but more importantly a fun and exciting way to gain experience and confidence for any young Deaf!!

If you or any young Deaf you know is interested in taking up this opportunity – please get in touch with either:
